Composition, Arrangement, Orchestration, Copying and Music Preparation

I create and deliver music for live performance, media, commercial work, recording sessions, publishing and education. My focus is on producing creative, clear and accurate materials from first sketch to final delivery, grounded in established professional practice and efficient technical systems.

I work at an expert level in Dorico and Sibelius with custom templates and streamlined workflows. I am proficient with Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live and Pro Tools, and handle everything from audio and MIDI transcription to the preparation of complex historic or contemporary manuscripts.

I produce sheet music that meets international standards, backed by rigorous preflight checks using Pitstop Pro. My studio includes extensive sound libraries and plugins for detailed and realistic mockups.

I work with consistent reliability, clear communication and a flexible approach that supports a wide range of creative and logistical demands.

Creative Direction, Coordination, Consulting and Mentoring

I combine deep musical, creative and technical expertise with an unwavering passion for orchestras, music notation and instrumental technique – shaped by decades of industry experience – to deliver the following:

  • Musical & creative direction - Directing the artistic and musical vision of a production while guiding creative contributors and stakeholders.

  • Music preparation supervision – Managing the collation, editing, formatting and preparation of sheet music, including revisions, musical triage and library management at sessions.

  • Music coordination – Managing personnel, scheduling, communications, budgets and logistics to ensure seamless project execution from planning to delivery.

  • Show calling & playback – Coordinating live performance execution, managing cues, timing and stage activity across performers and crew, and/or managing playback systems to ensure seamless integration of musical, electronic and visual elements.

  • Lessons, mentoring & professional development - Working with students, educators and professionals to advance skills in composition, arranging, orchestration, harmony and theory; Sibelius and Dorico notation; industry tools, workflows and career development.
