Belief: The Possession of Janet Moses (2015) - orchestrator, conductor and music preparation. Score by Rhian Sheehan.
Belief examines the death of Wainuiomata mother Janet Moses during a mākutu lifting in 2007, using interviews and reenactment to sit with a tragedy that writer and director David Stubbs describes as fear and love turning into hysteria. Five members of Janet's family were charged following her death. Kura Forrester plays Janet.
I orchestrated, prepared and conducted Rhian Sheehan's score.
