I think I want a different Wordpress theme but there are no good ones. I like the general and colour simplicity of this default one, but … I dunno. If anyone has seen good simple themes let me know or post a comment.

I have been browsing through the themes and found this one that I think you would like.
Swirl 1.0 (page 47)
The only thing is that it is not very colourful.
Can you design your own theme? If so, I think you should use a selection of grey and blue colours with a music note or similar sort of icon.

hmm, maybe you just need one with more contrast, the one you have does look good in its simplicity as you said, but almost a bit washed out… had a very quick look at th themes there were, and yeah i know what you mean… the one for drawn.ca is similar to this one, but with a darker grey background which seems to help (however cluttered the whole site can end up becoming), which seems to help it a lot… although the squiggly bits wouldn’t be appropriate. i don’t know.

I quite like the andreas one. It has the sort of contrast you are looking for I think.

Yeah thanks guys, I love the Andreas one more than any of the others (good spotting Mark). I went through page … after page … after page … after page of themes today. I’ve downloaded it and will see if it works when I install it in a few days!!
